On May 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to return to Odisha to support party candidates and provide a last-ditch push to electioneering in the region.
Speaking with the media, the BJP’s Odisha election coordinator According to Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, Modi would speak at two electoral rallies in the parliamentary districts of Kendrapada and Balasore. In less than a month, this will be Modi’s fourth trip to Odisha.
Prior to this, the PM had travelled the campaign trail on May 6, 10, and 19, speaking at seven electoral rallies and doing two road shows in Puri and Bhubaneswar. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also expected to travel to Odisha on May 25 prior to Modi’s arrival. He is scheduled to speak at electoral rallies in Jagatsinghpur, Korei, Baripada, and Chandbali.
In the final round of voting, which takes place on June 1, both Shah and Modi will advocate for the BJP’s nominees.
