PMAY Survey In Rural Odisha To Be Completed Within Two Months

Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Minister Rabi Narayan Naik declared on Wednesday that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) survey in rural Odisha would be finished in two months. Regarding the program, Minister Naik stated that the state government is aggressively carrying out surveys to find qualified recipients and guarantee that no worthy person is overlooked. In order to educate people about the program and involve them in the survey process, public awareness programs are also being planned throughout the villages.

“The survey for PMAY in rural areas is currently underway and will be completed in the next couple of months. We are spreading awareness through public meetings and ensuring people actively participate in the survey. We are prioritizing the inclusion of all deserving individuals, ensuring these beneficial schemes reach those who need them,” Naik stated.

Naik emphasized the work being done by department-designated trainers who are traveling to villages to raise awareness and help find underserved beneficiaries. He promised that the survey process would be transparent, pointing out that during rural visits, visiting ministers examine the results of the PMAY survey. Naik, who criticized the previous government, said that many impoverished people were left off the PMAY housing list in favor of ineligible recipients for political reasons. In order to obtain more benefits for the people of the state, the Minister also pledged to speak with Union Ministers about the PMAY situation in Odisha. Naik reaffirmed the state government’s pledge to finish the survey on schedule and make sure that qualified recipients of the PMAY program get their money back.
