The power tariff for domestic consumers in Odisha is reduced by 10 paise by the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC) for the financial year of 2024-25.
According to the media reports based on the order released by the commission, there is no change has been made in the retail power supply tariff and those will be constant for the next few years.
Also, the report said that the E-bill consumers will get a rebate of Rs 10/bill and the premium of the green energy tariff also decreased to 20 paise/unit. These newly introduced prices will come into effect from 1 April this year.
