Pragyan Ojha nominated by ICA for IPL Governing Council

The day before the annual meeting of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Indian Cricket Association (ICA) has selected former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha as its representative for the IPL Board of Directors. The 7th general meeting of the BCCI is being held in Ahmedabad today.

Earlier, former Indian player Surinder Khanna represented the association. According to the BCCI Constitution, the ICA must send a member of its IPL Board of Directors (GC) every year. ICA President Ashok Malhotra said the ICA has selected Ojha for the IPL Board of Directors. Surinder Khanna has done a great job and we should give everyone a chance.

Left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha retired from international and first-class cricket in February this year. The board of directors of the ICA took the decision at its annual general meeting on December 19, and a press release was issued.

The IAEA said in a statement that the IAEA Board had selected qualified candidates such as Ojha as its representatives after deliberations on any possible public interest litigation. Ojha’s term will be one year. The BCCI’s meeting will focus on tax rebates in the T20 World Cup, the formation of a new IPL team and the formation of various cricket committees.
