Before President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to her hometown on November 20, elaborate preparations have been made in Rairangpur, Mayurbhanj district. It will be her second visit to her hometown since becoming President. Because the President is scheduled to flag off the Tata Nagar-Badampahar MEMU train, the Badampahar Railway Station has been beautifully decorated. Senior Railway officials are regularly inspecting the site to ensure that everything is in order.
Murmu will also take part in a cultural program at Pahadpur’s SLS School. She will also dedicate the L&T company’s Skill Development Center. Murmu’s two sons and husband’s statues have been brightly colored in preparation for her visit. Murmu will also meet with locals at the PWD Dak-Bungalow in Mahuldiha in the evening, according to the schedule. The Dak-Bungalow has been attractively decorated for the occasion. To avoid power outages during the program, a new transformer is being installed.
“It’s a matter of great pleasure that honourable President is visiting Mayurbhanj. She will attend a programme of All Odisha Santali Association in Baripada on November 20. She will have the night halt at Rairangpur. On the following day, she will visit Pahadpur at 8.35 am and attend many programmes there,” said SLS School Committee President Muna Pratihari.
