Kejriwal was detained in Tihar jail in connection with an excise policy-related money laundering case. Arvind Kejriwal, a diabetic, is allegedly not receiving insulin in jail, according to Sanjay Singh.
Insulin is not being provided to Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister. For a diabetic patient, receiving insulin on time might be the difference between life and death. There is a plot afoot to assassinate Arvind Kejriwal. “Delhi’s populace will respond to this offence,” Sanjay Singh informed reporters on Friday.”The person who provided electricity, water, and other facilities to the citizens of Delhi… Kejriwal who arranged free medicines for the people… you see, today there is such a cruel government in the country that is not arranging medicines for Kejriwal ji and insulin,” Sanjay Singh was quoted as saying by ANI.
According to the report, a copy of which HT has seen, Arvind Kejriwal had ceased receiving insulin shots months before to his detention on March 21 and was not taking it at the time of his arrest or transport to the jail. According to the AAP, Arvind Kejriwal was allegedly not receiving insulin while incarcerated, which could have a negative impact on the chief minister’s health.The chief minister’s health was examined on April 10 and April 15 by a medical specialist who recommended oral anti-diabetic medications, according to the report that the Tihar director general submitted on Friday. It is “incorrect to state that Kejriwal was denied insulin at any point of time” during his treatment, the report said.
