Raksha Bandhan for loved ones

Raksha as we say in Hindi is the protection. It’s the promise brothers give to sisters on this occasion of Raksha Bandhan. It actually can be given by sisters or mothers too or by anyone who takes the responsibility of protecting the member.

It is such a beautiful occasion celebrated for this reason. How rich is our Indian culture. India is still intact and extremely rich in tradition and culture even after being occupied and invaded for more than 1000 years.

Like it’s said the «Sanskriti» or tradition and culture needs a certain amount of centuries or years to create and nurture. And Indian books of vedas are about more than 300k years old, and may be even more. So it takes the about the same amount of time to make it obsolete. Therefore even after so many trials Indian culture or sanskriti or civilization couldn’t be abolished.

Among many of the festivities and celebrations, Raksha Bandhan is one which keeps our family values intact. Let us all celebrate and protect our loved ones and make a promise in this day to be there for them for now and always.
