On September 6th and 7th, the KIIT Technology Business Incubator (KIIT TBI) hosted a Regional Start-up Network (RSN) formative workshop in collaboration with the US Consulate Kolkata in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Twenty of the most promising new businesses in Bangladesh were represented at the workshop, and they all came away having gained new insights, made new contacts, and refocused their efforts.
Speakers and visitors for the programme included the CEOs of two successful firms from Bangladesh: iFarmer Asia’s Fahad Ifaz and eCourier Ltd.’s Biplob Ghosh Rahul and Dr. David Dowland, Registrar of BRAC University.
The goal of RSN is to help its members become more successful, expand their professional networks, and make an indelible mark on the area.
In order to promote innovation and propel economic progress in the area, Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar, Director of KIIT TBI, emphasised the need of empowering entrepreneurs and providing them with the appropriate resources and guidance.
The conference also served as a networking opportunity for budding business owners to meet potential partners, backers, and advisors.
With the support of seasoned mentors, each young company had the chance to hone its business strategy, conquer obstacles, and perfect its expansion plans.
