Congratulations on winning the Philanthropist of the Year Award! What does this recognition mean to you personally and professionally?
Answer: I am very overwhelmed to have won this award.Getting a recognition for social welfare means a lot to me.Just as writing is a contribution made towards enriching other people’s life,philantrophy makes me realise that I can be of some help to the needy.Over time I was only getting recognition towards my writeups.Getting recognition for social activities is an icing on the cake.
Your book When Success Is the Only Choice has inspired many. How do you integrate the principles from your book into your social work?

Answer: I don’t give up.This is one thing which I realised in life.My writings are for the betterment of the society.If my writing can influence any single person I would feel that I have done a noble cause.In fact I even practise what I preach.The principles in my book are not only applicable to readers but also to me.Somehow I get the motivation to do more social work.
Can you discuss a particular social project or initiative that you are most proud of and explain its impact on the community?

Answer:My foray into writing was the most proud moment for me.Books have the power to change other people’s life.Whenever I come up with a new book,I feel proud to have made a genuine contribution towards society.
How do you balance your career as an author with your philanthropic efforts, and what motivates you to continue both pursuits?
Answer:To make a genuine contribution to the society and having a vision for the future keeps me motivated in continuing both pursuits.
What advice would you give to others who want to engage in social work and make a meaningful difference in their communities?
Answer:Concern is one such thing which comes from within.I would suggest as to first have concern for yourself,then your family and ultimately your society.If you can do this you would have done a meaningful contribution in your life.
