SCADA-Enabled APSCC Of TPSODL Inaugurated In Phulbani

By establishing the SCADA-enabled Area Power System Control Center (APSCC) in Phulbani, TPSODL has taken yet another significant step toward operational excellence. Amit Garg, CEO of TPSODL, officially opened the APSCC on August 3, 2023. The APSCC is outfitted with cutting-edge technology to enable remote control and monitoring of the 33/11KV PSS (Power Substation).

This new APSCC has taken a step forward in terms of enhancing electrical network management and providing quick fixes during power outages. The APSCC’s capacity to deliver real-time information on power scenarios facilitates quick updates to the centralized call center and guarantees customers are well-informed. This is one of the main benefits of the organization. The crew can quickly restore power supply in the region by using the SCADA system, reducing customer annoyance and downtime. An official press statement stated that a committed team of eight professional engineers has been assigned to operate in shifts, providing 24 hours a day coordination with grid stations, local field officers, and operations through SCADA.

“This marks a significant stride in our commitment to delivering reliable and efficient power distribution services to our valued customers. The APSCC will bolster our efforts in promptly addressing any power-related issues and will further enhance our ability to provide uninterrupted power supply in the region” said Amit Garg CEO TPSODL.

With this innovative step, TPSODL confirms its commitment to attaining operational excellence and providing its customers with smooth electricity services. The business is still dedicated to investigating novel approaches and putting cutting-edge technology into practice to build a robust and sustainable electricity system.
