Schools to reopen for classes 1 to 7 from Feb 28

The schools for the students of classes 1 to 7 will reopen from February 28 almost after a gap of two years. A parent-teacher meeting will be held in primary schools today prior to reopening the school.

Reportedly, the School & Mass Education Department has issued a letter to parents in all government schools in the state. The meeting will be held for about one hour between parents and teachers to ensure maximum attendance of children at the school level. The flexibility has been given to the headmasters to decide the timing of the meeting today without hampering the instructional hours of the school.

According to the reports, the concerned headmasters may arrange class wise PTM taking into account the number of participants and availability of space to conduct the meeting. While conducting the meeting, Covid protocols such as wearing masks and social distancing should be followed strictly.
