Section 144 imposed at Dhabaleswar Shrine Cuttack

The Odisha administration has tightened up following the terrible occurrence at the hanging bridge in Gujarat Morbi in order to prevent any form of major disaster in the state. At the Dhabaleswar Shrine in Odisha last evening, the Athagarh authorities invoked Section 144.

Section 144 will reportedly be restricted until the hanging bridge repair work is completed. Additionally, followers are advised to get to the temple via watercraft. The security of the poll will be examined by a technical team. Additionally, according to Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani, the election would be canceled if it does not adhere to safety regulations. The administration also stated that people’s lives are more valuable than anything else.

It should be mentioned that a special team from Kolkata examined the dangling bridge earlier today. They gave the district administration the order to put a cap of 200 persons on the bridge. However, there can only be 600 persons on the hanging bridge at one time. The management has also disclosed that as the cable bridge’s condition has deteriorated, ladies who observe Badaosa Brata are welcome to visit and provide darshan.

Teams from the ODRAF and the Firefighters have been assigned close to the pole for safety reasons. Sources claim that the concrete bridge next to the cable pole will be finished by the end of the next year.
