Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal appointed senior IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty as Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
As per reports, senior IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty is currently the Director-General, Fire Services, Commandant General, Home Guards & Director, Civil Defence. On Monday Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal appointed as the Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
The report further stated that an order was issued by the GA Department where it stated that senior IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty would remain as OPSC Chairman till he attains the age of 62 and later he was appointed to his new post as the Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
As the Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), senior IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty’s condition of service shall be regulated following the provision of the Odisha Public Service Commission (Conditions of Service) Regulations, 1952 as amended from time to time.
