In a statement,Pakistan was frightened by the arrest of the Wing Commander Abhinandan. Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Qureshi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Army Chief Bajwa were all trembling. Ayaz Sadiq, a member of the opposition , Pakistan Muslim League, said this in their parliament. “If Pakistan does not release the Indian pilot, India will attack Pakistan at 9 pm,” Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said at a meeting.
In a speech to the National Assembly of Pakistan, Ayaz Sadiq, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), said they had not brought an ordinance for Kulbhushan. The government kept the ordinance hidden for months. They were not given as much access to the Islamic High Court as the government had given them. He added that, he recalled that Shah Mahmood was present at the meeting.
Ayaz said Prime Minister Imran Khan had refused to attend the meeting and Army Chief General Kamaar Javed Bajwa had come. He was scared. His legs were shivering and he was also quite upset. Mahmoud Qureshi then told the meeting that he had to return Abhinandan because India was going to attack at 9 pm.
The Indian Air Force carried out an airstrike in Pakistan’s Balakot district in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack in February last year. The next day, Pakistan tried to cross the border into the Indian Air Force and sent fighter jets to India to attack. In response, the Wing Commander was shot dead by a modern Pakistani F-16 MiG-21. And Abhinandan’s plane crashed and he fell on the Pakistan border. From then he was held captive by Pakistani troops in Pakistan for sixty hours after his aircraft was shot down. But there was a lot of pressure from India so Pakistan had no option left and finally released Abhinandan on March 1, 2019. That was a moral victory over Pak on the side Indian Defence preview.
