A donation of one kilogram and eight hundred milligrams of gold has been made to the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri. Ten gold ingots, each weighing roughly 100 grams, that were given by an unnamed Lord Jagannath devotee were discovered in the “hundi” (gift box) at the “Nata Mandap” inside the temple grounds.
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) made this known on Tuesday. This is the largest donation of gold that has been received in the previous several years.
