The Special Investigation Team (SIT), lead by IGP Arun Bothra, raided the prime accused’s house in the abduction and murder of the minor girl ‘Pari’ of Jadupur village of Nayagarh district.
Prime accused Babuli Nayak was also marathon questioned by the investigation team. Along with him, his driver, Bijay Behera’s house, was also raided. The team is interrogating to ascertain the reason for the attack on the dead girl’s family and the duo’s whereabouts on the day of the incident.

On Friday, the investigating team also raided Nayak’s three-storeyed house and further questioned him along with his son for about an hour. The SIT team collected details of the vehicles, which are owned by Nayak and his drivers.
With the investigation team working with full energy, BJP spokespersons Sambit Patra stated that the SIT Probe could not be unbiased without the sacking of Minister Arun Kumar Saho. He also informed that before leaving for Jadupur village in Nayagarh district to meet the victim’s family members. He claimed that the Odisha people know who kidnapped and murdered Pari as the horrifying incident happened five months ago, and police are not able to arrest the prime accused.

He further claimed that Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo is camping in Nayagarh and establishing pressure on the SP and the collectors, to which he says that the SIT probe cannot be transparent under such circumstances.
