Prior to their FIH Hockey Pro League 2023–24 matches, the World No. 8 men’s hockey team from Spain arrived in India on Monday. This leg’s matches will be played at Rourkela and Kalinga Stadium. The Spanish team, captained by Marc Miralles, landed at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The dates for the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023–24 (Men) are as follows: the league will begin on February 10 and run through February 16 at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar. From February 19 to February 25, the league will be held at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.
The India leg of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023–24 (Men) will include five national teams: Ireland, The Netherlands, India, Spain, and Australia. Teams will play each other twice, in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela.
On February 10, Spain will take on the hosts, India, in their opening game of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2023–24 (Men). The following day, they will play Australia. After that, on February 13th, they will play the Netherlands, who are rated #1 in the world, and on February 15th, they will play their last match in the Bhubaneswar leg before moving on to Rourkela.
