Sports Minister Launches Orissa State Badminton Association Website

Sports Minister Tusharkanti Behera launched the ‘Orissa State Badminton Association (OSBA)’ website. During the launch, OSBA President, Rohit Pujari, Nileen Kumar, Honorary Secretary, OSBA & dignitaries from other districts were also present. 

Tusharkanti Behera embraced OSBA and also acknowledges the website for providing well-detailed information and a user-friendly structure. This type of initiative will encourage the badminton fraternity to get proper and modernized transparent information.

On the occasion Behera stated as per Chief Minister’s vision to make Odisha the sports capital of India, the state government is taking all measures to generate an eco-system for all the sports. He further said that out of 13 High-Performance Centers coming up in Kalinga Stadium there is also a Pullela Gopichand Badminton HPC coming up which shall be a premier facility in India to produce world-class players.

He further informed that the sports department will be constructing 150 odd indoor facilities all across Odisha in the next two years and also wished OSBA all the very best and promised all help needed to the sport as and when needed.

OSBA President, Rohit Pujari by thanking the Minister stated that the OSBA will take all steps needed to give players quality coaching and tournament structure.

The website will have online Players state ID registration and tournament entry system and shall also have a progressive ranking chart of all the age group players apart from other information as informed by the OSBA Secretary.
