The holy ‘Eid’ festival will be celebrated in Odisha on the 14th. The announcement was made by the Anjuman Islamia Ahle Sunat Al Jamaat Chand Committee. On Friday, Eid-ul-fitr will be celebrated across Odisha. The committee has announced that Eid will be celebrated next Friday as the moon has not been seen anywhere in the country.
Prayers will be offered at the mosque during the Covid cut-off. Mass prayers will not be offered in the mosque. Only 5 people will pray with the iman. The announcement was made by Mohammad Abdul Ahad, chairman of the committee.

The day after Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated in India one day later, on May 14. This holy month ends after 30 days of Ramadan or 30 days after the month of Ramadan. The next day, Eid is celebrated.
