The Odisha Cabinet Approves Rs 491 Cr For OUAT and Upgrades OSWAS

Two proposals from the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment and the Department of Electronics and Information Technology were approved at the Odisha Cabinet meeting, which was presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

One of the nation’s top digital workflow systems, the Odisha State Workflow Automation System (OSWAS), is getting an upgrade thanks to Cabinet approval. Under the 5T framework, the proposed improvement initiative will raise the efficiency level of governance and guarantee a transparent, citizen-friendly system.

For a five-year period, from 2023–2024 to 2027–2028, the Cabinet has also approved a total of Rs 491.41 crore for urgent repairs, renovations, and infrastructure reconstruction at the Odisha International School of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT). The OUAT was founded in 1962.
