Taking ideas literally out of the world: Tom Cruise, an actor known for performing daring exploits in his films, will soon become the first actor to film in space. Before the Covid-19 pandemic put a stop to planning, plans for the stunt-loving actor to star in such a movie with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and NASA both involved in the project were first proposed in 2020.
After filming Locked Down in a desolate London during the epidemic, Bourne Identity filmmaker Doug Liman, who is slated to helm the picture, said last year that he had “greater confidence” about making a movie in space. said Liman.
The film has not yet begun filming; it is still in the conceptual stage. If the movie is a success, as was previously revealed, Tom Cruise will be the first movie star to shoot on the International Space Station.According to The NY Post, UFEG Chairman Donna Langley disclosed that the majority of the film will be filmed on Earth before “the character [went] up to space to rescue the day.”
