Toy Train Service Resumes In Nandankanan Zoo After One Month Gap

After the fire break out reported from the engine of the Toy train in Nandankanan Zoo on October 16, the toy train service resumed after a gap of one month.

According to the reports, the toy train service had been suspended after a fire was reported from its engine due to a technical snag on October 16, hardly after eight days of its inauguration on October 8.

Further, the reports added that the repair work of the toy train was carried out by Rail India Technical and Economic Service (RITES), a Central PSU under the Ministry of Railways. The train will make six trips between 10 AM and 4 PM and is allowed to carry a maximum of 72 passengers on each trip. Tickets are to be issued 30 minutes prior to the ride.
