The microblogging site Twitter is set to launch a new feature soon. This is a feature where Twitter users can tweet without typing. That means the audio chat feature. Twitter says testing of the new audio feature ‘Spaces’ for Android users has begun in India.
The audio chat app is almost the same as the clubhouse. Seeing the popularity of the clubhouse, Twitter is also preparing to launch a similar feature. Earlier, Twitter had been testing space with a small group of iOS users for the past few months.
Twitter says it is expanding testing for Android users in India so that users can listen, speak live and host moderated audio conversations. This feature is currently available for select Android users who are part of the country’s App Beta program.
Clubhouse is a social networking app based on audio chat. In it, users can listen to conversations and interviews on any topic that is going on among the people. It’s like listening to a live podcast. It was launched by Rohan Seth and Paul Davidson. Launched during the Corona era, the app’s popularity grew when Tesla founder Elon Musk tweeted about the clubhouse. Elon Musk wrote that he would have a chat on the app. As a result, the clubhouse’s conversion room limit was exceeded during the chat.
