With the rapid growth in the number of Coronavirus, the Minister of Home Affairs extended the lockdown till 31st July with some fresh guidelines.
The training institutions run by Central and State governments will be allowed to function from 15th July.
But the schools and colleges will remain closed until 31st July. Apart from hindrances in containment zones, there will be no restriction on “inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods”.
Metro services, Gyms, Cinema halls, swimming pools, theatres, social and religious gatherings remained barred. The online coaching and training will be encouraged.
As per the guidelines, night curfew timings are being further relaxed and curfew shall be in force from 10 PM to 5 AM.
Further, relaxations in night curfew have been given for the seamless operation of industrial units in multiple shifts, movement of persons and goods on National and State Highways, loading and unloading of cargo and movement of persons to their destinations after deplaning from buses, trains, and aeroplanes.
The movement of domestic flights and passenger trains has already been allowed but in a limited manner and their operations will be further extended in a calibrated manner.
There shall be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons & goods and no separate permission or approvals will be required for such movements.
The social distancing, wearing of masks, and maintenance of hygiene should be followed in the shops where 5 persons will be allowed at a time depending upon their areas. The MHA will monitor the adequate implementation of national directives.
People of age 65, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years are still advised to stay indoors except for emergency requirements and health purpose.
The number of guests should not exceed 50 in marriage while in funeral-related gatherings, the number of people should not exceed beyond 20.
States and UTs, based on their assessment of the situation, may prohibit certain activities outside the Containment zones, or impose such restrictions as regarded necessary.
