Interview Times HabituX, the student association of the School of Human Settlements (SHS), XIM University, Bhubaneswar, is hosting its annual student fest UNNOVATIONS’24 on 5th October 2024. This festival of innovative ideas is for students across the country to learn and ideate on ways to meet urban sustainability challenges through a variety of academic and cultural competitions.
This year over 150 students from 28 colleges in various parts of the country have registered in various competitions, including ‘Mayor’s Discourse’, ‘Quizzite’, ‘Dream City’. Competitions like urban theme and issue-based photography in ‘Shutterbug’, face painting in ‘Face it On’ and dance performances in ‘Rhythm’ are other creative ways of stimulating urban thinking among the participants.
The fest is organized by the HabituX Organizing Committee comprising of Ms. Sarita Routray (HabituX Student Co-ordinator), Ms. Debasmita Kar (Deputy Co-ordinator), Ms. G Abhaya Sri (Treasurer), Ms. Pratyusha Krishnaswamy (Student Secretary, SHS), Ms. Manasini Sahoo (Content Head), Ms. Sangeeta Dash (Social Media Head), Ms. Mrinali Solankee (Design Head), Ms. Parama Sen (Sponsorship Head), and Mr. Jagnnath Mohapatra (Logistics Head).
