What ignited the flame of poetry within your soul?

Answer : I am a born Poetess, I write from a very early age. I love to make Poetries in Hindi. I remember while I am all alone I make up Poems and if I write it down it remains with me. 

• How do you envision your poetry resonating with diverse audiences nationwide?

Answer : When I write, I write in different genres, segments and emotions. It covers almost every body’s heart. It depends on the moment. My second book “Ayushya” is motivating the youth and everyone. It’s also about love for the motherland, whereas my first Book talks about philosophy which dictates everyone’s life. I chose to write in Hindi as Hindi is the language of my heart and Soul. Although my future books are coming in English and Norwegian too. Just stay tuned.

• Could you walk us through your creative process when weaving the fabric of your poems?

Answer : If I am reading a heart touching poetry, I intend to respond to it and write one of my own. I remember once at my work one of my colleagues forwarded me a lovely yet pessimistic Poetry and I immediately responded back with my very optimistic Poem as a youth, when later I came to realise it was written by our very own former PM Atal ji. Atal ji and Dinkar ji’s Poetries have impacted me from very young.

I also write when I am in a deep thought or emotion with whichever feeling i have i write it down. It gives me immense peace after writing it down on a paper.

• In your opinion, what transformative role does literature play in shaping societal narratives?

Answer : Literature is life. We all study in schools and later it becomes a part of our life. Those who are keen and avid readers or writers understand Literature from its depth. 

• Balancing tradition and innovation is often a delicate act in poetry. How do you navigate this creative terrain?

Answer : Writing is an Art or a Science of an Art. It comes from within. With time you get better. Every age has a different pattern of thoughts and thus reflects in the writings. 

• What pearls of wisdom would you offer to aspiring poets aspiring to leave an indelible mark on the literary landscape?

Answer : Follow your heart. Keep an account of what the mind resonates with and keep a balance in life.
