US President-Elect Joe Biden Vows 100m Vaccinations For US In First 100 Days

US President-elect Joe Biden has set a goal of 100 million Covid vaccinations in his first 100 days in office and said that his first month of office would not end the outbreak giving a few details on rollout strategy.

As per the reports, Mr. Biden introduces his health team when he takes office on 20th January and urges the Americans to wear the mask for 100 days. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is to be approved and rolled out for Americans soon. At the press conference in Delaware, Mr. Biden said that his first 100 days will not ultimately end the Coronavirus and that this situation of the pandemic will not go that easily.

“My first 100 days won’t end the Covid-19 virus. I can’t promise that. But we did not get into this mess quickly. We’re not going to get out of it quickly. 100 days we can change the course of the disease and change life in America for the better,” he said at the conference. 

Further, he warned that COVID-19 efforts could slow and stall if Congress did not conclude bipartisan talks and urgently come up with funding. The first priority for him will be getting back children to school. He also gave some information about the most extensive vaccination program in US history.

Mr. Biden also mentioned that the Trump administration had not given him any rollout plans.
