Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed 5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman V.K. Pandian to visit the Bhadrak district in order to assess the state of various development projects there and engage with the local populace. At a cost of Rs 48 crore, Pandian reviewed the development of the Akhandalamani Temple in Aradi.
He also examined the status of major projects, such as the Rs. 893 crore Mega PWS Project for Chandbali, the Rs. 100 crore Bhadrak Ring Road, the Rs. 480 crore Integrated Instream Storage Structure at Akhuapada, the Rs. 164 crore New DHH & MCH and 100 Bedded Super Specialty Hospital at Bhadrak, the Rs. 47 crore Chudamuni Harbour in Basudevpur, the Rs. 41 crore Puruna Bazar to Guzidahara via Maa Bhadrakali Temple, and the Rs. 27 crore Development of Dhamara Jetty.
Afterwards, Pandian also examined the status of three significant bridges: the Rs. 80 Cr. Salandi River Bridge in Dhanakania, Chandbali; the Rs. 55 Cr. Rail Over Bridge in Kenduapada, Bhandaripokhari; and the Rs. 52 Cr. Mantei River Bridge in Panchuthikiti, Chandbali. All three bridges were requested during Sri Pandian’s most recent visit to the Bhadrak District.
