One of the most popular and well-documented administrative officers from Odisha, Mr. Vijay Arora has opted for voluntary retirement. Mr. Arora has over 30 years of experience in the administrative field and has also attained 50 years of age.
Though he still has nearly a decade of work still left in him, he thinks its the right time for him to move forward to the next phase of his life and allow youngsters to take in the most respectable job in India.
The State Government has allowed senior IAS officer Vijay Arora to retire from the Indian Administrative Service voluntarily with effect from March 1, 2022. Arora, serving as an OSD in the GA & PG Department is an Odisha-cadre IAS officer of the 1991 batch. In January this year, Arora was promoted to the Chief Secretary grade.
