Vishal Kumar Dev, a senior administrator in the IAS cadre, has been permitted to continue holding the additional positions of Principal Secretary, Energy Department, and Chairman, GRIDCO, following a little reorganization by the Odisha government.
In accordance with a notice released by the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, Vishal Kumar Dev, an IAS officer from the 1996 batch, is permitted to continue serving as the additional Principal Secretary to the Government in the Finance Department and the Chairman of the Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPC).
The announcement further stated that Nikunja Bihari Dhal, IAS, who was appointed as an additional chief secretary to the government, the chairman of GRIDCO, and the Energy Department, would no longer be employed when Dev takes over.
