On the 71st anniversary of his birth, Rishi Kapoor referred to Alia Bhatt as one of the better performers of the present generation in an interview with HT.On Monday, September 4, the late actor Rishi Kapoor’s loved ones, friends, and admirers commemorate his 71st birthday. He was the brother of Rajiv and Randhir Kapoor and the son of actor Raj Kapoor. He was also the grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor. He was married to the actress Neetu Kapoor and they had two children together, Riddhima Kapoor, a jewellery designer, and actor Ranbir Kapoor. While nearly every member of his family worked in Bollywood, his son also wed Alia Bhatt, one of the most accomplished performers of the current age. Rishi had only positive things to say about Alia, with whom he coworked at Kapoor & Sons.
He lauded Alia for her talent and her choices in a 2018 interview. He responded, “I like someone like Alia Bhatt, who takes on hard roles as in Highway (2014) and Raazi, when asked what he thought of the younger generation of actresses. The only person who can carry a movie on their shoulders at this young age is an actor. Additionally, one must be really lucky to find such pieces. Alia has been fortunate, and she undoubtedly have talent as well.Rishi was also familiar with Alia as Ranbir’s girlfriend. From 2018 to 2022, when they started dating, the couple was engaged. Alia posted a message in Rishi’s memory on social media after his passing in 2020.
