Banerjee informed supporters during a campaign rally in the Balurghat constituency that the police in Kashi, Uttar Pradesh, had been outfitted in saffron.
BJP leader Amit Malviya stated on X that the Doordarshan logo was originally saffron, but was later modified to blue. This was in response to the new tint of the logo that caused controversy on Saturday.
“Avoid watching Doordarshan once more. It was formerly a source of national pride. Prasar Bharati is a separate entity. How would one go about changing the logo’s colour to saffron? stated Banerjee.Additionally, Banerjee charged that the BJP was pursuing nonvegetarians.
You are not allowed to consume fish. Why? Since you may have rice with only one dish in India, whereas vegetarians require at least two, the majority of people there are not vegetarians. Allow individuals to choose whether or not to follow a vegetarian diet. You have no control over what individuals will dress or consume, Banerjee remarked.
