FEATURE: The cricketing fervour is set to reach new heights as the much-anticipated World Premier League (WPL), also known as the Purusottam Memorial Cricket Tournament, is all set to unfold at the Central Playground, Joda, on February 15 and 16, 2025. This prestigious event, organized under the leadership of Mr. Duhsasan Sahoo, Founder of the Purusottam Memorial Cricket Tournament, promises an electrifying display of sportsmanship, competition, and entertainment.
The tournament kicks off with an opening ceremony at 7:00 A.M. on February 15, 2025, setting the stage for an intense battle among the participating teams. The league matches, scheduled from February 14 to February 16, will see top-tier teams competing for the coveted championship title.
The event will culminate with a closing ceremony and cultural program on February 16 at 4:00 P.M., followed by a musical night and gala dinner at 8:00 P.M., ensuring a memorable experience for players and spectators alike.
The tournament will witness fierce competition among ten dynamic teams: WGH Tuskers, CIAL Fighters, CIMPL Dynamo, Raiders, LYFE Hotels Daredevils, WCS Dominators, The World Strikers, and Blasters.
The league matches are set to take place across three thrilling days:
• Day 1 (February 14, 2025) – League Matches begin at 2:30 P.M.
• Day 2 (February 15, 2025) – Matches commence at 7:30 A.M.
• Day 3 (February 16, 2025) – Final rounds start at 7:00 A.M.
