Interview Times 
School of Rural Management, XIM University (New Campus), in association with SRM Alumni Committee, the core committee of the School of Rural Management, successfully organized XPECTRM’24 on the topic “From Idea to Impact: Social Entrepreneurship in Emerging Markets” on 16th of February, 2024. The event commenced with an opening address by Dr. Niraj Kumar, Dean of the School of Rural Management, XIM University, followed by an introductory address by Prof. Gautam Prateek, Assistant Professor, School of Rural Management, XIM University.
The event commenced with a keynote address from Prof. Balram Bhushan, Assistant Professor of the School of Rural Management and the moderator. He illuminated the contemporary shift from the selfless act of “giving back to society” to a new era marked by “collaborative movement and shared existence.” The speakers explored various challenges, including financial constraints, resource allocation, and profitability, emphasizing the importance of sustainability. The founding story of Vitto, inspired by direct engagement with farmers and a recognition of financial hurdles, displayed a commitment to addressing real-world problems. Vitto App’s commendable role in breaking down language barriers for enhanced financial services underlines its mission to make financial services universally accessible.
Speakers concluded by sharing their journeys, highlighting the pivotal role of self-correction, collaboration, and ethical values in the constantly changing landscape of social entrepreneurship. The comprehensive message echoed that understanding the audience and ground-level issues is essential, especially for those seeking advanced solutions in economically challenging circumstances. The event concluded with an inspiring note: “Keep igniting the flame, and with unwavering persistence, someday the darkness of the path will dissipate.” This powerful message is a rallying call for collective perseverance and optimism in pursuing positive change.
