On the new campus of XIM University, the School of Rural Management in collaboration with the SRM Alumni Committee recently organized a spectacular event – XPECTRM’24 Held on 16th February 2024, the conference went into detail on the theme of den “From Ideas to Impact: Into Social Work.” in Emerging Markets”. communities in emerging markets It focused on the transformative power of social enterprises in addressing the challenges they face. The genius of Dr. Nirajkumar, the esteemed Dean of the School of Rural Business, set the tone for serious research on social enterprise development. Dr. Gautam Pratik, Assistant Professor in the School of Rural Studies, enriched the audience with an insightful introduction and paved the way for an inspiring journey. The highlight of the event was the keynote address by Dr. S.K. At the heart of the session was the search for real-world solutions, exemplified by Vitto’s founding story. Mr. Binayak Acharya, CEO of ThinkZone, Ms. Swati Sinha, Director of Vitto and Mr. Borra Srinivas Rao, CEO of Grains shared their journeys and insights. Born from direct contact with farmers and deep insights into economic constraints, Vitto emerged as a shining example of commitment to solving tangible problems Vitto App’s admirable role in language of the breaking down of barriers to enhanced financial services underscored its mission of universal financial inclusion.
