28th Board Meeting Of Rourkela Smart City Ltd Reviews Progress Of Ongoing Projects

Development Commissioner/Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg presided over the 28th Board of Directors meeting of Rourkela Smart City Ltd. on Monday. Key officials such as Ashutosh Kulkarni, CEO of Rourkela Smart City Limited, and Usha Padhee, Principal Secretary of the Housing and Urban Development Department, attended the meeting. The Board discussed plans for revenue creation and operational maintenance, addressed major obstacles, and examined the status of ongoing projects during the meeting. Important perspectives on several aspects of development were also exchanged, emphasizing the Rourkela Smart City initiative’s dedication to advancing urban development and raising citizens’ standards of living.

In order to guarantee timely completion of the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) project, the Board encouraged M/s BEL to step up their efforts. A detailed analysis of the activities carried out by Rourkela Smart City Ltd. about the “rOURkela One” project showed encouraging advancements, especially in the establishment of the Tribal Museum and the City Command Center (CCC).

With an emphasis on content creation, Tribal Huts, artifacts, and shrine crafts, the Board held a thorough debate regarding the Tribal Museum’s soft components. There were also discussions and updates on other ongoing projects, such as Vedvyas Heritage Development and the Big Recreation Park.
