On Second Anniversary Of CRUT CM Uncovers ‘Bus Pathsala’

On the second Anniversary of ‘MobusChief Minister Naveen Patnaik uncovered the book ‘Bus Pathsala’. The book is an anthology of five-week-long virtual training sessions led by Captial Region Urban Transport during the Coronavirus pandemic on soft as well as technical skills.

For the first time in India, any kind of book is made by any public transport company. CM Patnaik acknowledged CRUT for taking the initiative for the training its crew and documenting its result. On the second anniversary of Mo Bus CM also congratulated the CRUT team. He also expressed that the enterprise will continue to serve the people with the same enthusiasm, along with maintaining all the guidelines for the COVID-19 pandemic.  Association of State Road Transport Undertaking (ASTRU) also highly applauded this initiative.

The publication will be administered in the entire city and transport corporation in the country. CRUT decided to relevantly engage the staffs via online medium sessions as it will serve to implement the skills so that it will help to overcome the pandemic crises. Both National and International experts drew attention in this training program. They spoke on various topics like crew motivation, driving skills, better maintenance practices, passenger-friendly approaches, gender & Public transport etc.

For a better understanding, the sessions were all conducted in Hindi and Odia. More than 1200 employees of CRUT and Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) associated in their first online training session arranged by a Public Transport Company in India.

Arun Bothra, Managing Director, CRUT also thanked the commuters for their continued trust in the Mobus service. He further said that the journey of Mobus was challenging as well as a learning experience for the CRUT team as the services were continued even during this time of the pandemic. He thanked all the riders who trusted in them from the first day of service till now and continued to ride with them by following all the guidelines and protocols.  He also thanked CM Patnaik for his support and guidance to CRUT. “Even though at times the buses had lesser passengers yet the service continued non-stop as the main objective is assisting the people and ensuring affordable transport solution”.
