On Wednesday, 3,732 nursing officers joined the ranks of various Odisha medical colleges and hospitals. At Kalinga Stadium, a “Nijukti Parva” was held in response to this. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who was present at the program, counseled the recently hired nursing officers to emulate Mother Teresa, Florence Nightingale, and Pandit Gopbandhu Das. According to the Chief Minister, individuals can forge their own identity if they work with unselfish determination, motivated by the ideals of these service idols.
The Chief Minister congratulated the new officers and their families on joining such a wonderful service as patient care, stating that the motto of our health service is “every life is precious.” He continued, “We are working with this ideal.”
