4 die during an concert in Kerala

During an outdoor technology festival on Saturday at the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in Kochi, there was a stampede that resulted in the deaths of four students and numerous injuries. It is reported that ten or more of the injured are in critical condition.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 o’clock at night when students hurried from the campus to an auditorium because it had begun to rain.Local political figures claim that there was a stampede and disorder as a result of some students who were racing to the auditorium falling off the stairs and hitting others who were following them.

Athul Thambi, Ann Ruftha, Sara Thomas, and Alwin Joseph are the names of the deceased. The other three are CUSAT engineering students, with the exception of Alwin.The Tech Fest was supposed to end on Sunday after it started on Friday. Thousands of students from different universities as well as locals had gathered on campus for the yearly tech fest in addition to CUSAT students. When ADGP M.R. Ajith Kumar examined the accident scene, he stated that the organisers had made plans for admission.As a result of the need to deploy a sizable security force for the ISL match at the Jawahar Lal Nehru stadium, it is reported that the local police did not supply enough police.
