Adobe founder Charles Geschke dies at 81

Nowadays, everyone sends any document file to the computer in PDF format. Charles Chuck Geschke, the developer of the PDF and Adobe Reader, breathed his last on Friday. He was 81 years old at the time of his death. Geschke also founded the Adobe Company. He lived in San Francisco. His death has been a major blow to the company, according to the company.

Santhanu Narayan, CEO of Adobe and of Indian descent, said in an email that Geschke was a mentor to the company. He is a hero. The software he co-created with John Barnock is most popular.

Geschke’s wife, Nancy Nan, said she was proud of his work. Despite this, he was focused on his family. He considered himself the luckiest man in the world. After graduating from Carnegie Melon University, he first worked for Xerox. Here he met Barnoc. In 1922, the two developed Adobe software together.

Most interestingly, Geschke was kidnapped in 1922. Two men kidnapped  him from his office. They demanded $ 4.5 million to release him. Geschke was later rescued by police.
