There has been a major cyber attack on global airlines with Air India. It has leaked data on 4.5 million users. A lot of important information has been stolen, including passports, credit cards details. Airlines that have cyber-attacks include Malaysia Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Finayer, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa and Pacific.
Air India said in a message to its affected customers that the company’s SITA Pss server had been cyber-attacked. This is done by storing and processing the customer’s personal information. The data was leaked from August 2011 to February 2021.
The cyber-attack leaked the customer’s name, date of birth, phone number, passport information, ticket information, regular passengers and credit cards. Credit India’s CVV and CVC numbers were not stored on the server, Air India said.
