Indian Airforce’s MiG-21 crashes in Punjab, squadron leader killed

The Indian Air Force MiG-21 crashed late Thursday night. The plane, which was engaged in routine work in the Moga area of ​​Punjab, was reported to have crashed suddenly, as reported by ANI.

The Air Force said it was training only routine, while the MiG-21 fighter jet crashed. In addition, a pilot was killed in the incident. The Air Force has ordered an investigation into how the MiG-21 fighter jet crashed.

According to sources, the MiG-21 was out of Airbase in Punjab for routine training. Shortly after takeoff, there was a mechanical fault. For this reason, the pilot wanted to land. But before the safe landing, the plane crashed near a village near Moga.

The crash was so severe that the fighter jet caught fire. As a result, the pilot was killed.
