For the past two months, the whole country has been fighting the second wave of corona virus in India. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has come forward to help the people in such a difficult time. Yuvraj Singh’s organization YOUWECAN has announced plans to set up 1,000 beds in various hospitals in India to provide health care to Covid-19 patients.
The initiative will be launched in partnership with One Digital Entertainment. It aims to provide oxygen facilities, ventilators and beds equipped with Wi-Fi machines and other medical equipment needed for the good care of Covid-19 patients. In addition, the organisation will work to improve public hospitals.
Yuvraj said the second wave of Kovid-19 had taken a terrible turn. “We have all lost our loved ones,” he said in a statement. We have seen a number of people struggling for oxygen, ICU beds and other emergency medical care. It also made a deep impact on me.
