On the eve of 28th September , a book exhibition by National Changemakers Forum in collaboration with Koalakraft took place in Durgapur, West Bengal. National Award Winner – Ramesh Rakshit graced the occasion as a Chief Guest.

Author Kalpana Bora’s book ” My India- My Story” memories of a self made woman is a book that talks about the rich culture and heritage of one’s country. Author Kalpana shares thought provoking stories of her struggle so that the current generation can be showed a path to lead a happy and successful life. Anita Bhosle one of the readers who hail from Delhi turned enthusiastic when she came across this book. When she bought the book , she told that all her childhood memories of celebrating several festivals with the family instantly made a connection with her.

Her favourite Chapter is the second chapter where it talks about different festivals like Makar Sankranti , Holi, Saraswati Puja etc. Two of her most favourite celebrations has always been the Republic Day and the Independence Day festival. Author Kalpana Bora ‘s book not only talks about the festivals but also the cultural significance of each of them . The Covid pandemic was a completely new phenomenon for the people world wide.

The author has also shared her insightful views on the second wave of Covid-19 . The most interesting part was that the author also mentioned that how The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy recently announced the National Bio Energy Programme , that would be implemented in 2025-2026. Her research and knowledge while curating the book impressed everyone .
