The displaced people from various parts of the state received land patta after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik settled their long-standing land disputes. Due to land disputes, the residents of Lakhanpur tehsil in the Jharsuguda district have been dealing with a number of issues for years. On August 20, the settlement process was accelerated following the visit of 5T Chairman V.K. Pandian.
18 revenue villages were the focus of the survey when it began, and 866 families from seven of those villages were surveyed and given land patta. We’re surveying the other eleven villages. In these eleven villages, 1,339 families will receive the patta from the government.
Likewise, in 1983, the Water Resources Department was officially registered as the owner of the land encompassing 22 villages within Surada Tehsil within Ganjam District. The revenue department now owns the land in 17 villages, and their settlement is ongoing. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has given land to 700 people and homestead patta to 962 of these individuals. Following the 5T Chairman’s visit on August 26 and 27, the survey work was completed more quickly.
Addressing the local people and stakeholders in a special program organized through video conferencing, the Chief Minister said “I have always made sincere efforts to solve the problems of the common people. Your happiness is my greatest achievement”.
Patnaik went on to say that you can take part in a number of government welfare programs by obtaining the land record. Gramkantha Patta was distributed to 20,000 beneficiaries in the first phase. According to the Chief Minister, 18,000 more beneficiaries will shortly receive these land records.
