TDP head Chandrababu Naidu revealed that the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena had formalised their alliance in Andhra Pradesh for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.After days of conjecture, the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) officially formalised its alliance with the Telugu Desam Party and the Jana Sena Party in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. In a press conference, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed this and predicted that the alliance would win handily in Andhra Pradesh in the next Lok Sabha elections.
The definitive coalition of the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena has been announced for the concurrent Andhra Pradesh and Lok Sabha elections.”Andhra Pradesh has been badly destroyed,” the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh said to PTI. The alliance between the TDP and the BJP benefits both the state and the nation. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and conveyed optimism for the impending elections at the alliance announcement.
He declared that the alliance would win all of Andhra Pradesh’s elections, taking aim at the ruling YSR Congress in the southern state. After their senior officials met for a second time on Saturday, the three parties formalised their partnership, according to sources.According to sources quoted by PTI, the BJP and Jana Sena will run jointly for between eight and thirty seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha. Naidu’s TDP will run for the remaining 145 Assembly seats and 17 Lok Sabha seats in the meantime.
