The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) unveiled its third list of contenders for the upcoming Odisha Assembly elections on Friday. The names of BJD president Naveen Patnaik’s nine Assembly Constituency candidates were revealed.
The list of candidates is as under:
Rengali: Sudarshan Haripal
Rourkela: Sarada Prasad Nayak
Biramitrapur: Rohit Joseph Tirkey
Keonjhar: Meena Majhi
Rairangpur: Raisin Murmu
Balasore: Swarup Kumar Das
Barabati-Cuttack: Prakash Behera
Salipur: Prasant Behera
Jayadev: Naba Kishore Mallik
Earlier, on March 27, the BJD released its first list for 72 Assembly seats, followed by 27 on April 3 and 9 today. Beginning May 13, elections to the 147 seats in the state assembly and 21 Lok Sabha constituencies in Odisha will take place on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1.
