Currently serving as the Deputy Director General of Forests (Central) at the Integrated Regional Office of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in Bhubaneswar, Mishra oversees forest and environmental matters in Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, and Bihar.
