The University of Southampton, Delhi-NCR, has introduced two new scholarship schemes to support exceptional undergraduate and graduate students in India. The two programs are the Delhi Presidential Scholarship and the Future Talent Scholarship.
The Delhi Presidential Scholarship will be awarded to one undergraduate and one graduate student. This prestigious, fully-funded scholarship covers the full tuition fee for the entire duration of the chosen course. To be eligible, candidates must demonstrate consistent academic excellence and align with the university’s core values. The recipient for the graduate scholarship will be announced in June 2025, while the undergraduate recipient will be revealed in July 2025.
The Future Talent Scholarship is designed to support up to 12 students—both undergraduate and graduate—by offering a tuition fee reduction of ₹220,000 for the first year. This scholarship is open to applicants across all six programs offered by the university for the August 2025 intake. Recipients will be selected based on academic achievements and the strength of their scholarship application. Shortlisted candidates will be announced in two stages—June and July 2025.In addition to these scholarships, the university is introducing the Future Talent Bursary, a financial assistance program aimed at supporting academically gifted yet financially disadvantaged undergraduate students. The bursary provides up to ₹660,000 per student, covering one year of study only. Information on eligibility and the application process for this bursary, along with other scholarships, will be made available by the last week of February 2025.
