Sheetal Choudhary Death: Chilling Murder Plot Unraveled Behind Staged Car Crash and Shocking Confession**

In a chilling revelation, the Haryana Police have cracked the murder case of Sheetal Choudhary, a model whose body was found with her throat slit in a canal. The key accused, identified as Sunil—a married man with two children—has confessed to the brutal killing.

According to police, Sheetal had arrived in a village near Panipat on June 14 for an album shoot. She was accompanied by Sunil, who drove her there in her car. The two allegedly consumed alcohol inside the vehicle, during which a heated argument broke out between them. The altercation turned violent, and Sunil physically assaulted Sheetal.

In a desperate call during the assault, Sheetal phoned Sunil’s sister, saying he was beating her. Moments later, her phone was switched off.

Following the incident, Sunil reportedly staged a car accident, claiming the vehicle had plunged into a canal and that Sheetal had drowned while he swam to safety. However, police grew suspicious after locating the submerged car and not finding Sheetal inside.

The next day, authorities recovered Sheetal’s body nearly 80 kilometers downstream from the canal—bearing multiple injuries, including a slit throat—prompting an investigation into foul play. A missing person report had been filed earlier by Sheetal’s sister, which further helped trace the events leading up to her death.

“During interrogation, Sunil admitted to stabbing Sheetal with a knife following a heated argument and later dumping her body into the canal,” said DSP Satish Kumar Vats, Panipat, speaking to ANI. “He has been arrested and will be produced in court today. We are seeking police remand and will probe whether anyone else was involved.”

Police also confirmed that Sheetal was married but had been living separately from her husband due to domestic disputes.

The case has exposed a deeply disturbing narrative of betrayal, violence, and a failed attempt to mislead investigators with a staged accident. Further investigation is underway.
